RoboSustain's robot uses a hybrid sensor array — a standard RGB camera combined with a gas sensor module and thermal infrared sensor. The AI processes these feeds simultaneously, using computer vision to identify visual anomalies (color temperature shifts, moisture patterns) and cross-references them with real-time gas (ppm) and thermal (°C delta) data. This fusion produces a high-accuracy detection overlay you see in the Thermal Feed modal.

We recommend a full scan every 24 hours (daily). The robot is scheduled to run at 08:00 AM by default, but you can customise this in Notification Settings. If you've recently had a repair done, we recommend an immediate post-repair scan to verify the fix was successful. In high-risk areas (kitchens, basements) consider bi-daily scans.

Yes. Every product in the RoboSustain marketplace undergoes a 3-stage vetting process: (1) Eco-toxicity review — materials are tested for VOCs, formaldehyde, and harmful chemicals. (2) Sustainability audit — we verify recyclability, carbon footprint, and sourcing. (3) Technical certification — materials must meet ASTM or EN standards for their category. Each product shows an Eco Leaf Rating (1–5) summarising these factors.

Your Eco-Score (0–100%) is a composite sustainability metric calculated from four dimensions: Energy Efficiency (30%), Leak Prevention Record (30%), Eco Material Usage (25%), and Robot Scan Compliance (15%). A score of 85%+ earns "Eco Warrior" status. The score updates daily after each robot scan and recalibrates when you mark repairs as resolved using eco-certified materials.
